William "Bill" Henry Thomas

William Henry Thomas 76, of Moundsville, W.Va passed away Sunday September 18, 2016 in Wheeling Hospital. Bill was born October 5, 1939 in Moundsville, W.Va son of the late Ralph & May Bumgardner Thomas. Bill retired from PPG as a repairman. A member of the Corner Stone Church of God. Scout Master of the Moundsville Boy Scout Troop #79 for 45 plus years at the Scout Master Level. Instructor of the D.T.M. Bible Training Center on the corner of Second & Grant Ave. Preceded in death by his parents , one brother Charles Thomas and his wife Linda. Survived by his wife Millie (Bradford) Thomas, daughter Sherry Burton of Moundsville, two sons William (Theresa) Thomas of Hudson, N.C. and Bob (Beth) Thomas, brother James (Joyce) Thomas all of Moundsville, W.Va .; five grandchildren Jamie & Carl, Eric & LeeAnn, Justin, Alyssa, and Madlyn "Maddie" and three great-grandchildren Austin, Ashley, Megan and Tom Cat, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday September 20, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8. p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.Va where services will be held Wednesday September 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Wilfong officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to D.T.M. Bible Training Center PO Box 235 Moundsville, W.Va. 26041. Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling, W.Va. A bereavement will be held at the Corner Stone Church of God immediately following burial.
