Paul Woodrow Blake

Paul Blake, 83 of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at home.

Paul was born September 17, 1933 in Wetzel County son of the late Ogal V. & Edna

Gouldsberry Blake. Paul was a member of the Ash Avenue Church of God. A U.S. Army Veteran stationed at Camp Killean, Texas as a MP. He was engaged in farming and retired from Ormet Corporation. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Carol Thomas Blake in 2008, one sister Gladys Crow, brother Joseph V. Blake. Survived by three daughters Carol Ann (Dave) Yeater of Glen Easton, W.Va. and Christy (Rick) Glover and Kandi (Charles) Midcap all of New Martinsville, W.Va.; one son Paul "Ricky" Blake of Glen Easton, W.Va. two sisters Mary Jean Frohnapfel pf Proctor, W.Va; Geraldine Drake of Moundsville, W.Va. brother Gerald (Bessie) Blake of Moundsville, W.Va. thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildrenand several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1109 2nd Street, Moundsville, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17. Services 1 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 18 at the Ash Ave. Church of God, Moundsville with Pastor J.C. Plougger officiating.
