Ramon Ramirez

Ramon Mendez Ramirez, 70 of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Wednesday June 7th, 2017 at Liza's Place. Ramon was born September 2, 1946 in McDowell, County, W.V. He served in the United States Army is the 1st Cavalry Division and served in Vietnam. He was a retired Coal Miner from Consolidated Coal. Preceded in death by three siblings Maria Minch, Robert Lozano, and Michael Ramirez. Ramon was extremely loved by his wife Cathy Ramirez and their three daughters, Angelina (Tim) Riggs of Moundsville, Cindy Ramirez-Wise and her husband John Wise of Cameron, W.V. and Christina (Vernon) VanMeter of Moundsville, also survived by five grandchildren Timmy Riggs and fiancee Sara Tolpa, Christopher (Kayla) Riggs, Ashley Neal, Autumn Wise and Isabella Wise, two great-grandsons Owens Riggs and Bryson

Neal, brother Julian Ramirez, one sister Carmen Hall and two foster brothers Sonny & Larry Berisford and some nieces and nephews and cousins. A special thank you to Liza's Place in Wheeling for their loving care and support. There will be no visitation at Ramon's request. A private viewing was held at the convenience of the family.
