Jack Nestor

Jack Lee Nestor 82, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Wednesday August 21, 2019. He was born February 25, 1937 in Philippi, WV. Son of Gilbert & Macel Kanouff Nestor. A 1955 graduate of Philippi High School. U.S. Air Force Veteran enlisted 4 years, 3 of which was in France. Served from 1955 to 1959 and then 2 years inactive service Reserves. Retired from Bayer Corporation the former Mobay Plant. A member of the McMechen Christian Church Disciples of Christ. A member of the American Legion Post #3 and the knights of Pythias of Moundsville. Jack was a very dedicated husband, father and brother. Preceded in death by his father. Survived by his loving wife Peggy Shroyer Nestor, his mother, age 104 Macel Nestor of Jane Lew, WV; daughter, Lisa (Bill) Carson of Fairmont, WV, son, Greg (Angie) Nestor of Philippi, WV, sister, Patty (James) Morgan of Weston, W.V. grandchildren, Travis and Valerie Nestor and Ryan & Tyler Carson and his fiancee Lydia. Family will receive friends Friday August 23, 2019 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. from where services will be held Saturday August 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Hubbs officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
