Wayne Simmons

Kelsey Wayne Simmons 70, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Wednesday June 24, 2020 in Salem Hospital, Salem, Ohio. Wayne was born July 7, 1949 in Glen Dale, W.V. son of Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Lemmons Simmons. He retired from Panhandle Farmers Mutual Insurance Company as Vice President and the former President of BB&T Bank. A member of the American Legion Post #18 Cameron, W.V. and a member of the Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. Lodge #17 Cameron, W.V. Preceded in death by his father, Lewis and brother, Kurt Simmons. Survived by his mother, Mary Simmons of Cameron, W.V. some aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no visitation. A Mason graveside service will be held Sunday June 28, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Steve Jumper officiating at the Navoo Community of Christ Church.
