Betty (Debolt) Cox

Betty Lou Debolt (Burkey) Cox 86 of Moundsville was ushered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus on Saturday May 7, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of God in Moundsville where she was very active in the Ladies Ministries and part of the worship team. She was retired from Moundview Nursing Care where she was a cook. She was preceded in death by her husband Kermit H. Cox Jr.; parents Delbert Debolt Sr and M. Geneva (Neely) Debolt; brother Delbert Debolt Jr. She is survived by her two daughters Rosemary (Robert) Conner of Cameron, WV, and Rhonda (Gary) Porter of Fish Creek; brother Sidney Frank (Sandy) Debolt of Valrico, FL; 2 grandsons Robert “Keith” (Janet) Conner of Cameron, WV, and Gary “Leejay” (Brittanni) Porter of Bellaire, OH; 4 great grandchildren Cheyenne Conner, Caitlyn Conner, Jensen Conner, and Jeremiah Porter; 5 stepchildren Terry (Tammy) Cox of Pulaski , TN; Diana Blake of Alpharetta, GA; Edward Cox of Cameron, WV; Dale (Debbie) Cox of Topeka, KS; Scott Cox of Moundsville, WV; 6 step-grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the Nursing staff at Stone Rise Moundsville for the love they showed and care they gave our mom. Services at Anderson’s Funeral Home 1109 2nd street Moundsville, WV. Family will receive friends Friday May 13, 2022, 5pm to 8pm and Saturday May 14, 2022, from 10 am until time of service at 11am.
