Donald Burdell Dobbs

Donald Burdell Dobbs 84, of Cameron, WV passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Donald was born December 9th, 1938 in Cameron, WV son of the late Burdell and Ada Sampson Dobbs. Retired from Northern Regional Jail & the former West Virginia Penitentiary with 27 years of service, after retirement he enjoyed working for Neubauer Florist. A member of the Seven Hills Church of Christ, Cameron, WV. Donald was a Lifetime resident of Cameron, WV. A 1959 Graduate of Cameron High School. Preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Joan Dobbs and one brother John Keith Dobbs. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Morris Dobbs, one son, Donnie Dobbs; one sister, Maxine Dobbs and one brother, Lawrence (Sharon) Dobbs all of Cameron, WV; two beloved granddaughters, Kelsey Dobbs of Texas and Jocelyn Dobbs of Huntington, WV; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Friday, June 2, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave., Cameron, WV officiating with Pastor Danny O’Neil. Burial in Highland Cemetery, Cameron, WV.
