Dora "Sue" Prendergast

Dora Alice "Sue" Prendergast 80, of Georgetown, WV passed away Tuesday May 3, 2022 at home. She was born February 24, 1942 in Wetzel County daughter of the late Martin and Amanda Williams Gorby. Attended the First Christian Church in Mt. Carmel and Littleton, WV. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank Prendergast, infant brother, Charlie Gorby, brother, Alvin Gorby and sister Nellie Tustin. Survived by three sisters, Erma Barnhart of Deep Valley, Pa.; Christy (Charlie) Johnson of Holbrook, Pa.; Wanda Vitagliano of Carmichaels, Pa.; five brothers, Joe Gorby of Georgetown, W.V.; Larry (Marjorie) Gorby of Littleton, W.V.; Donald (Mary ) Gorby of New Freeport, Pa.; Thomas "Bunt" Gorby of Charleston, W.V.; Lindsey Franklin "Diddle" (Mary) Gorby of Littleton, WV; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation Friday May 6, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, WV where services will be held Saturday May 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Steven Jumper officiating. Interment in Rice Ridge Church Cemetery.
