Doris West

Doris Howard West 86, of Shadyside, Ohio passed away Monday March 25, 2024. She was born June 15, 1937, in Moundsville, W.V. daughter of the late Charles and Mary McHenry Howard. She attended the Cornerstone  Church of God. She retired from the former Marx Toy Plant and was a waitress for years at Elby's Restaurant. Preceded in death by her parents, one sister Marilyn Robinson, three brothers, Roger, Bill and Popeye Howard and her son, Mark Allen West.  Survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert West, one daughter Rebecca  "Becky" (Scott) South of Northport, Ala.  two sisters, Betty Loy and Joyce K. Burton, two grandchildren, Anna Hall and Robbie South and one great-granddaughter Jersey Kate and some nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday March 29, 2024, from noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Sherry McHaffie officiating at the Anderson Funeral Home   & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V.
