Eleanor Chambers

Eleanor Lou (Sinon) Chambers 92, formerly of Nauvoo Ridge in Marshall County passed on November 14th 2023 at Liza’s Place/Valley Hospice. 

She was born August 20, 1931, in Moundsville, WV the daughter of the late John Henry and Emma Irene (Dobbs) Sinon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Warren Beryl Chambers and one sister Carolyn (Sinon) Scherich. Eleanor’s life loves were her family, husband Beryl, surviving sons Mark and Guy, her grandchildren Jodi, Kim, Chad, Kelcie and Kirk.  In addition, 2 great grandchildren Frances and Margot.  Her love of music began as a member of the Moundsville Marching Trojan Band and continued with her love of piano, organ and singing.   Eleanor was an active, engaged member of the Community of Christ Church where she served as an elder, bible school director and music director.  A Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Nauvoo Ridge Community of Christ Church with Elder Joy Leasure officiating.   Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, WV.  The family would like to thank the Caregivers, Dawson Home Care, Liza's Place & Dr, Kelly Barki  for their unconditional love &   their dedication for the care they gave to Eleanor over the years
