Gerald Lee "Jerry" Williams Sr.

Gerald Lee "Jerry" Williams Sr. 70, of Wheeling passed away January 30, 2025, went to be with the Lord, Jerry was battling cancer. He was born July 15, 1954, in Moundsville, W.V. son of the late Ray and Sara Mae Stollar Williams. A member of the Sand Hill Methodist Church. Retired from Laborers Union #1149. A member of Moundsville American Legion #103 and a lifetime member of Elm Grove Eagles. He enjoyed hunting, kayaking, riding his side by side and his tractor, working outside and attending his grandchildren's activities and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, son, Kenny Ray, daughter, Christy Jean, grandson, Landon Lee and his in laws, George Kenneth and Edith Gray. Survived by his wife, Louella Gray Williams of 49 years on February 16, one son, Jerry (Heather) Williams, one sister, Sarah Mae (Martin) Fonner, five brothers, Ray Williams, Roy Williams, Sam (Vickie) Williams, Everett (Patty) Williams, Carl (Rhonda) Williams, two grandchildren, Lily and Sawyer and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. Sunday February 2, 2025, from 2-6 p.m. and Monday from 11:30 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 with Pastor Chuck Swiger officiating with burial immediately following services to Sand Hill Cemetery, Wheeling, W.V.
