Harold Francis

Harold Ellsworth Francis 90, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Sunday July 3, 2022. He was born September 4, 1931, in Moundsville, WV son of the late Clifford and Lucille Lutes Francis. A member of the First Christian Church of Moundsville. Retired from Horns Department Store for over 20 years. A Veteran of the United States Air Force. Preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Beverly; two sisters, Jane & Alice; twin brother, Charles Francis; one stepson, Darrell Evans in 2000. Survived by his wife Olive "Jean" Evans Francis, two sons, Bradley (Ronda) Francis and Harold Lee (Melissa) Francis all of Moundsville, WV; five brothers, Melvin Francis, Roger "Bill" (Mary) Francis, Robert Francis Glen (Sally) Francis Justin Francis all of Moundsville, W.V.; grandaughter, Felicia (Dustin) Richey and their daughters, Laiklyn, Alyeah, Kynlee, Berklee all of Wheeling, W.V.; and one grandson, Tommy Francis; step-grandson Shawn Evans, two step great-grandsons, Chase and Shannon and two step great-great grandchildren and some nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday July 6, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, WV with Pastor Wesley Howsare officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery where the Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard will conduct military honors.
