Hazel Markey

Hazel Fry Markey 83, of Moundsville, WV passed away Monday April 24, 2023 in Mound View Health Care. She was born August 2, 1939 in Corbin, Kentucky daughter of the late Joseph and Hila Fry. She was a Catholic by faith. Retired from Stone & Thomas, a loving Caregiver and Homemaker. She was an Awesome mother, grandma and always made homemade meals. Preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Markey l, sons, Dino, Tony, Bernie ll, and Mark Anthony Markey. Survived by two sons, Michael Joseph Markey, of Adena, Ohio and Thomas (Debbie) Markey of Moundsville, WV one daughter-in-law, Michelle Strong-Markey of Moundsville, WV; eight grandchildren, Anthony, Squeek, Kierstan, Dino Lee, Tracy, Trishtan, Brandon, Thomas and one great-grandson, Cameron; and a lot of special family, friends, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday April 27, 2023 from 2-3 pm at the Anderson Funeral Homes 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, WV. Interment at the convenience of the family. Family would like to thank Mound View Heal Care and Amedisys Hospice for all their loving care.
