Imogene Chambers

Verna Imogene Frye Chambers 89, of Cameron, WV went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 1, 2023. She was born September 22, 1934, in Cameron, West Virginia daughter of the late Clay and Lillian Gorby Frye. Employed at Mountaineer Leather for many years. She was a member of the Sunbeam Rebekah's also a member of the Cameron Church of Christ. Imogene was a loving mother, sister, grandma & great-grandma, aunt and loved to be around family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl Gibson Chambers, three Brothers, Gene, Howard and Lawrence Frye and one great grandson Camden Suarez. Surviving one son, Larry Earl Chambers, (Marni Young) seven grandchildren, Jen Strawn (Brandon Ritchey), Brennan (Carrie) Paith, Hunter Chambers, Laren Chambers (Jonathan Walker), Chasity Paith (Jason Stern), Lori Chambers (Mark Suarez), Tucker (Bri) Cunningham and two sisters, Alma Lavone (Frye) Kenneth Sampson and Bonnie (Frye) Denny Perry and seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 1 PM until time of service is at 4 PM at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave., Cameron, WV with Pastor Doug Richardson officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family.
