John Douglas Murphy

John Douglas Murphy 69, of Cameron, WV; passed away Tuesday November 23, 2021 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born October 3, 1952 in Warren, Ohio; son of Paul Edward and Margaret Ruth Rutan Murphy. He retired from Local #1149 Laborers Union and self-employed Care Taker for Highland Cemetery for over 40 years. Preceded in death by his father Paul. Survived by his mother, Ruth Murphy of Cameron, WV; wife, Paula Roberts Murphy; five daughters, Melinda Murphy of Moundsville, WV; Betsy (Chad) Williams of Belton, WV; Megan Murphy of Cameron, WV; Maggie Murphy and Molly Murphy both of St. Clairsville, Ohio; one sister, Brenda (Tom) Briggs and one brother, Daniel (Tammy) Murphy all of Cameron, WV; three grandchildren, Waylon Williams, Welder Williams and Sierra Blake; and two great-grandchildren, Alora Peak and Randall Peak and his beloved Dog "Rat". There will be no services at Doug's request.
