Junior Ray Neely

Junior Ray Neely 83, of Cameron, WV passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 in Cameron Nursing & Rehab. Junior was born July 11, 1939 in St. Louis Missouri son of the late Carl and Lona Conaway Neely. He was a member of the Cameron First Christian Church. Retired from the Fostoria Glass Company and in his earlier years worked at the Marx Toy Plant and was a guard at the West Virginia Penitentiary. He was an Avid hunter and fisherman and loved gardening. Preceded in death also by his wife, Imogene Gorby Neely, and a long time companion, Mary Logsdon, two sisters, Wilma Snyder and Velma Brody, three brothers, Leonard, George and Kenny. Survived by two daughters, Sarah (Roger) Kupfer of Cameron, WV; Karen Kelly of Washington Lands, WV; and a son and daughter in Florida; two grandsons, Ray McMasters and Roger Lee (Jodi) Kupfer and four great-grandsons, Trenton Thompson, Kasin Kupfer and Rhett Kupfer and Devin and some nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday January 8, 2023 at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, WV; from noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Danny O'Neil officiating. Interment in Highland Cemetery Cameron, WV.
