Mack Johnson

Mack Lee Johnson 82, of Cameron, WV passed away Wednesday July 20, 2022 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He was born March 29, 1940 in Cameron, WV; son of the late Arthur Leo and Bessie Pyles Johnson. Mack was a member of Cameron Baptist Church and retired after 38 years of service from Citizens Communications. A 1958 graduate of Cameron High School. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Gayle Johnson and Sharon Kalhbaugh and a brother, Zane. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hill Johnson and daughters, Jamey (Steve) Darlington of Jane Lew, WV, Jerri (Roy) Mackey of Cameron and special daughter Dakota Suarez at home; son, Jeff ( Emily) Johnson of Cameron; grandchildren, Levi ( Rose) Suarez, Christopher Darlington, Kevin (Jasmine) Darlington, Brooke and Emily Johnson, Hunter Hickman; foster son, Bjorn (Anna) Grunner and children of Stockholm , Sweden. sisters, Eula Jean Minor of Akron Ohio, Kay Porter and Diane (Joe) Darmafall of Moundsville, Beverly (Tom) Wright of Cameron; brother, Fred (Linda) Johnson of Tallmadge Ohio; sister-in-law, Sherry Johnson; great-grandchildren, JB, Layton, Landin, Avery, Hadley, and one due in December; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday July 22, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 at the Cameron Baptist Church 62 Squirrel Alley Lane Cameron WV 26033 with Pastor Mike Kelley and Pastor Phil Campbell officiating. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cameron Baptist Church.
