Margaret "Peggy" Minton McDowell

Margaret "Peggy" Joyce Minton McDowell 83, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Tuesday February 18, 2025.  Peggy was born June 26, 1941 in Cameron, W.V. daughter of the late Thomas Rickey and Jessie Aileen Durbin Minton. She was a Christian by faith. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, aunt and cousin. She was a bird lover, enjoyed playing cards, shopping and eating out and most of all spending time with her family.   Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Randy McDowell and one brother, Ronnie Minton. Survived by three daughters, Debbie McDowell, Donna (Davey) Jones, and Dorothy Six all of Cameron, W.V.  two son, Randy (Lisa) McDowell of Cameron, W.V. and Kenny (Patty); two sisters, Dona Lou (Ronnie) Neely of New Martinsville, W.V. and Vickey Wade (Walter Doty) of Cameron, W.V. three brothers, Jerry Minton, companion (Marilyn) and Charlie Minton both of Moundsville, W.V. and Scotty (Sarah) Minton of Cameron, W.V. six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and one baby boy on the way. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Thursday February 20, 2025, from 3-6 p.m. Services will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St.  Moundsville, W.V. Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Doug Richardson officiating. Burial In Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
