Richard Conner Sr.

Richard Carl Conner Sr. 80, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Sunday July 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born February 28, 1944 son of the late Levi and Alice Gump Conner. He  retired from UMWA Ireland Coal Mine working over 20 years in the coal fields.  Richard was a good father, husband, brother and grandfather and will be missed by many.  Richard was a fixture on 4th St. where he enjoyed sitting on his front porch. Preceded in death by his parents, and  one sister, Barbara Williamson. Survived by his loving wife, Linda (Moore) Conner, one daughter, Linda Gamble her companion (Robert McCabe); two sons, Richard (Julie) Conner Jr.; Doug Conner; three sisters, Ertha (Dave) Ferrell, Connie (Rick) Bell, Diane Gorby; brother, Honus (Gail) Conner all of Moundsville, W.V. and brother, Jerry (Sandy) Conner of East Palestine, Ohio; four grandchildren, Courtney, Katie, Richard and Garrett and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
