Robert Carter Trowbridge
Robert Carter Trowbridge 16, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away November 22, 2024. Carter was born April 4, 2008, in Glen Dale, W.V. son of Robert Lee Trowbridge Jr. and Lisa Timmins. Carter was the best son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle and boyfriend and a dear friend to many. He was a Christian, and a Sophomore at John Marshall High School, a member of the John Marshall F.F.A. & Archery Club and a member of the Marshall County 4-H Goat & Rabbit Club and also in “Scouts” Moundsville Pack #78. Carter enjoyed any animal that he came into contact with especially his horses and rabbits. Carter was our blue eyed, blonde hair, “Golden Boy” he was very outgoing and ready to do anything he loved the outdoors, dancing, singing, the beach, and spending time with family and friends, if you knew Carter he lived life to the fullest, he had such a big heart and an infectious smile. He would brighten the room with his enthusiasm that just made you smile. He was a hard worker and gave everything he did 110%. Carter had big plans in life no matter what he was doing he was going to change the world for the better, he always was very grateful for everything that was given to him and always thanked the good Lord up above every day. Preceded in death by his father, Robert Trowbridge in 2020, maternal great-grandparents, Donald Hixenbaugh, and John & Patricia Timmins; paternal grandparents, Pershing Frederick and Virginia Lucille (Walker) Trowbridge and maternal great-grandparents, William Charles and Flota Dell (Daugherty) Reeves. Survived by his mother, Lisa Timmins, three sisters, Brittany Trowbridge, Kailey Timmins and Aubrey Timmins; two brothers, Bo Trowbridge and Brendan Trowbridge; maternal grandparents, Sandy Hixenbaugh and Arthur Timmins; maternal great-grandparents, Charles and Cindy Mason; paternal grandparents, Robert (Pam) Reeves Trowbridge, his girlfriend, Lydia Francis and nephew, Jensen and some aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins and friends. Family would like to thank the whole community for the love and support and the generosity during this difficult time it is greatly appreciated. Family will receive friends Thursday December 5th, 2024, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. where a memorial service will be held Friday December 6, 2024, from 12-4 p.m. with services at 4 p.m. with Pastor Dave McCombs officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family.
