Tammy Sue Stern
Tammy Sue Stern, born October 18th, 1960, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024. Tammy was the daughter of two loving parents Glenn and Doris Stern of Fish Creek, WV. Tammy attended and graduated from John Marshall High School and with mentored and inspired by many loving teachers along her journey to independence including Jane Klug, Susie Baker, and Mrs.Black. Tammy’s positive attitude and ability to thrive gained her many unique opportunities for employment at places such as The Groom Room, (Carrie Bell), Quality Bakery, and Adena Hills Industry. As a testament to the glory of God, Tammy was a devout follower of his word, and exuded the kindness and grace they can only be given to those who believe in the power of everlasting life. We know that her parents and brother, Dennis Stern, that went on to heaven before her received her with welcoming embraces. Tammy is lovingly remembered by her brother, Jerry Glenn Stern (Karen) and sister, Donna Kirby, nieces and nephews, Dr. Shawn Stern (Aimee, Elizabeth, Jacob) Jennifer Pagliaro (Frank, Isabella, Frankie), Michael Stern (Amy, Dexdon, Zaiden), Brittnany Hoback (Virgil, Nikki, Andrew, Aaron and Sarah), Laken Kirby and many other friends and family. Tammy will be laid to rest in a private memorial beside her mother and father at the family cemetery on the Stern’s Lost Valley Stock Farm, Fish Creek, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ohio Valley Ohio Valley Night to Shine c/o Janet Allen, Bowman UMC, 2398 Dowler Road, Moundsville, WV 26041. Heaven gained the sweetest angel. The joy she brought to those who knew her will certainly guarantee her the mightiest of wings.
