Thomas Roy Pettit

Thomas Roy Pettit 87 of Cameron, WV passed away Tuesday May 2, 2023 in Wheeling Hospital. Tom was born May 1, 1936 in Cameron WV son of the late Roy and Dorothy Reid Pettit. A member of the Seven Hill Church of Christ of Cameron, WV. Retired 1994 from Iron Workers Local # 549 Wheeling, WV. Tom's hobby was he had a love for cabinet making. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marjorie, brothers, Carl and Robert. Survived by his loving wife, Lila Parsons Pettit, two sons, Michael (Janet) Pettit and Carl (Holly) Pettit all from Cameron, WV; one sister Mary Jane Postlewait Morgan; grandchildren, Jeff (Anna) Pettit, Morgan (Cody) Miller and Slaton and Pace Pettit all of Cameron, WV; and five great grandchildren, Chandler, Colt, Kendria, Knox and Kane and some nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Thursday May 4, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, WV where services will be held Friday May 5th, at 11:30. a.m. officiating with Pastor Stephen Smithbauer. Interment in Big Run Christian Church Cemetery.
