Vera Barrett

Vera Marie Anderson Barrett 75, of Moundsville West Virginia, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024. She was born December 19, 1948  in Cameron, W.V.  the daughter of Harold and Georgia Chambers Anderson. She was a member of the Moundsville Harvest Baptist Church, a graduate from Cameron High School, Over the years Vera worked several different jobs at Fay's Jewelry, Sun Donut Shop, and The Conduit where Vera and George met. Preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Richard, William, Dave, and Ronnie, and one sister Janelle McLaughlin.  Vera is survived by her husband, George Barrett, the love of her life, one son, Nicholas Barrett, one daughter, Nancy Miller (Matt) of Deep Run , Ohio; five granddaughters, Alida Barrett, Peyton Barrett, Katie Siburt, Daisy Barrett, and Audrey Barrett and two step grandsons Corey Henry and Wyatt Henry, one sister-in-law Barbara Anderson of Moundsville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visitation or services at Vera’s request. Arrangements are interested to Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, WV
