Wendell Bertley Rine

Wendell Bertley Rine 81, of Moundsville, WV passed away Wednesday October 30, 2024. He was born January 23, 1943, in Woodland, W.V. son of the late Orion and Rose Moore Rine. He was a Christian by faith. Retired from Shoemaker Mine as a Mine Operator. He was a husband, father, pap and great grandpa, he also was an Avid Hunter and loved spending time with his family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, one baby brother Glen, four sisters, Leona, Rose, Gloria and Glenna. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carolyn Sue Hoyt Rine. two sons, Derrick (Beth) of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Michael Rine of Moundsville, W.V. three grandsons, Austin (Hannah) Rine, Caden (Morgan) Rine and Wyatt Rine and one great-grandson Hoyt Rine and many nieces, nephews and cousins also his beloved dog, Cherokee.
